First Class Rocks

First of all, we made it safe and sound. All is well. Now that that's out of the way...

So flying stand by definitely has it’s perks. We all 4 were place in first class from Atlanta to Bogota, what a nice little blessing. Champaign to start, a heated hand towel, next, a table cloth just the size of the seat table, we were then served heated nuts, a lovely salad and roll, then a choice of 3 fancy meals followed up by a hot fudge Sundae. Emilee thought she was in heaven and Nate said first class folks are generally stiff and we should teach them how to live a little. According to Nate everyone needs to laugh to live. The flight was smooth, the extra leg room and comfy seats were a plus for sure. I can’t help but think “someone” was smiling down on us, just a little extra frosting on the cake.

So we made it to Bogota the kids were too excited to realize they were tired at first, but are now ready for a good night sleep.

Here are messages from Nate and Emilee:

This is Nate, I am typing this msg on the plane. I can’t believe how fast two weeks went by. It seems like we were just counting down with two weeks left, now we are on the plane. I really can’t wait until Monday!!!!

This is Emilee, I am also typing this msg on the plane. It is really cool to be riding on the plane first class. I can’t wait to meet Jessica and Joaquin on Monday. It seems like just yesterday we were just thinking about adopting and hadn’t even started the paperwork yet. I also can’t wait for the next hour and a half to be over so we will be in Bogota.

I think that it is great how much your family supports all that you have done and gone through. It was great that they were there for you to get that letter taken care of.

I can't wait to hear more about your journey. I'm glad it's the weekend, but...is it Monday yet? I wanna hear all about meeting your kids!!!

Always in my thoughts and prayers!!

P.S. - what is the difference in time there?

I hope you sleep well your first night out of the country! :0)

Well it's good to hear that many times you really do get what you deserve--first class, wow! How awesome and what a nice way to begin your trip as a family. So glad all were able to pull through with the doctor's letter! Teamwork cant be beat. Just two more days until your beautiful children are with you. Until then, can't wait to hear about the visit to the orphanage! Blessings!

So happy God blessed your family with first class air travel to Bogota! But what would we expect from our Father the King, after all we are the Kings children.
I am sure it was easier to be able to relax with that kind of treatment. Praise God for all he does.. and for a safe travel

I refrained from telling you my "buddy pass" stories when I heard you were using them because I didn't want to scare you. Needless to say, mine didn't include first class :-) You go!!! That's awesome!!
