More Photos

Enjoy!

I just happened to run into my sister between taking Nate to Baseball and Emi to Dance so she scanned the photos and sent them to me. So here they are. A day earlier than expected...smile.

Yeah! I knew there was a reason I wasn't in bed yet. They are gorgeous. Are you ready to walk to Colombia to get them?! We're trying to expand Caleb's prayers, so we've included you all in our nightly prayers. Your faithful prayers have been a blessing to us, and we want to bless you back!

Have a blessed wonderful Ressurection Day!

Love,
Sherri

Oh my goodness, they are so incredibly cute! My daughter, who is 9, loves to look at pictures on the computer. I was showing her the pictures of your kids and she said, "Hey, that girl looks a little bit like me, doesn't she, Mami?" Your daughter's hair is almost exactly like Shirley's in her referral picture.

I can relate to your anxiousness, too. A few days after we received our kids' pictures, we got their abandonment decree. I sat and cried and cried. I definitely went through the entire grieving process re: birthparents and birth siblings. I still definitely have my "moments." These people, who are almost like ghosts to our kids, will forever be a part of all of our lives. As they always say, adoption involves many losses along with a great gain.

Can't wait to continue following your journey . . .

They are such cuties! And I have to agree with Janine (and Shirley) that when I first saw that picture of Jessica, I thought she looked a lot like her daughter Shirley too.

Beth, I want to know your secret! You're so well organized at this stage in the process, and look how much extra you're doing. Your calmness and togetherness just amazes me.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I'm looking forward to seeing many more in the not-so-far-off future!Genece

What beautiful children! And hand-picked for you, what a humbling feeling that must be. :) We are praying for you all - the Hollis 6! - and will continue to do so. (Thank you so much for your prayer, support and comments too!)

peace and blessings,
jenn

Matthew 19:14-15

The Little Children and Jesus
14Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." 15When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.

Beth, we're all so excited for you and I can't wait to help spoil them! :-) I haven't been this excited since Annslee was born over 2 yrs ago. I know the joy of being able to adopt and it's an amazing feeling. It's was 9 yrs ago in February when I got the news of Bailey's adoption. We love you so much and can't wait. Love, Brian & Sonya

Congratulations! I had no idea you were adopting - how exciting! It makes me want my baby to come out even faster :) Did I tell you I'm having a girl? We're naming her Ava Elyse. I can't wait!

Your little Joaquin looks EXACTLY like my nephew, Seth. I should bring in a picture to show you next time I'm at CS, before you leave!

Take care! And Congrats again!
